This PowerMax-USB PM3Q sensor is an amplified thermopile power sensor intended for measuring low power lasers down into the mW range. It includes a quartz window to more effectively eliminate thermal background radiation. Note that the window limits the spectral range to 0.3 to 2.1 µm.

The sensor is terminated in a USB cable that interfaces directly to a PC. A DB25 model (PN 1098419) is available.

For a wider spectral range, the similar PowerMax-USB PM3 model (PN 1174263) does not include the quartz filter, enabling a spectral range of 0.19 to 11 µm.
