Details

Fast, thin-film transverse thermoelectric, water-cooled power sensor with diffuser for measuring lasers between 1W and 350W. Can handle up to 15 kW for durations less than 100 msec to enable rapid measurement of laser bursts without water cooling.

Key Features:

  • 1 to 350W range
  • Up to 15 kW peak power
  • Fast thin-film detector
  • ZnSe diffuser to increase power handling
  • 10 µsec rise time
  • 25mm diameter maximum beam size
  • 700 nm to 1070 nm; 10.6 µm spectral range
  • Water-cooled; (up to 22W air-cooled)
  • ISO 17025 accredited

This PowerMax-Pro HP sensor incorporates a fast thin-film detector technology that responds in tens of microseconds.  This model incorporates a ZnSe diffuser to enable higher powers and can handle up to 350W average power with water-cooling, 22W average power air-cooled, and up to 15 kW peak power for durations less than 100 milliseconds for measurement of short laser bursts without water cooling.

The sensor is terminated in a SmartProbe DB25 cable and requires the LabMax-Pro SSIM meter (PN 1268881) to take advantage of its high-speed features.  A USB-direct model (PN 1315456) is available.
